    Earlier, our upstream provider unexpectedly rearranged some of our hardware. Unfortunately, due to an improper shutdown performed by the data center’s remote hands, a few of our servers experienced data corruption and garbled files. This forced us to conduct extensive safety and integrity checks before we could proceed further.

    Given our limited team size, we weren’t able to begin those checks immediately. We worked through the night and encountered several additional issues during the recovery process. Ultimately, we made the decision to restore from backups, as this would save significant time and avoid further complications.

    We prepped the affected systems for restoration, wiped the corrupted servers, and began full recovery operations at 12:00 PM CST on April 15.

    As of now, all services have been successfully restored except for dashboard.mellowservices.com, which is still in the process of being recovered. We’ll provide a new ETA for that shortly.

This move is part of our ongoing efforts to improve reliability, performance, and scalability. Please note: downtime may last several hours and could extend into late tonight.
